Service Dogs

Perhaps the only thing close to the bond between brothers and sisters-in-arms is the bond forged between veterans and their service dogs. The sense of trust and companionship service dogs instill is second only to the valuable service they provide.

America’s VetDogs®

The service dog programs of America’s VetDogs were created to provide enhanced mobility and renewed independence to veterans, active-duty service members and first responders with disabilities, allowing them to once again live with pride and self-reliance. Not only do service dogs provide support with daily activities, they provide motivation to tackle every day challenges.

NEADS

NEADS (formerly known as National Education for Assistance Dog Services and Dogs for Deaf and Disabled Americans) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that matches highly skilled service dogs with U.S. veterans who have a permanent physical disability, profound hearing loss, MS or other progressive conditions. These disabilities do not need to be combat related.
